The Thai Wine Association was formed end of 2004,exactly
ten years after the first Thai grape Wine was launched.

The Kingdom's leading wine producers set up the association
to jon forces adn immediately established winemaking quality
standards and labeling requirements for Thai-produced grape
wines. Members adhere to the Thai Wine Charter,which is in
line with international standards.

Futher,our objectives is to create awareness and enhance the
image of Thai wines,both in the domestic and international
markets,Lastly,we intend to educate Thai people about Thai
grape wines and the health benefits associated with moderate
wine drinking,thus creating and industry we Thais can be proud
of.

Our wine trail offers a new and exciting aspect to traveling
through Thailand,while our already world-famous cuisine will
be enhanced with the matching of local wines. The wineries
are located in three viticultural areas (TVA) : Chaing Rai and
Pichit. Khao Yai on the Korat Plateau and Central in the Chao
Phraya Delta. Arrangements for touring and tasting can be
made directly with each winery.
